LI: Learning about our Hauora and our brain This week we went to Life Education in groups. I was in group 1 which is the volleyball team. The first session was about our Hauora and our brain. First we watched videos about a boy named Kapi who was getting bullied by a group of kids. There was an up stander in the group who stood up and apologised to Kapi. The next day he got lazy and wouldn't clean his room, or even have a shower. Next we learnt about the brain and the brain cells. We are all born with 100 billion brain cells and you think 7,000 thoughts a day. That was what we learnt for the first session. The next session we learnt about how bad drugs are to our brains. We also sent a letter to Kapi about how he can help build his Hauora again.
